The DX400 Series radios are designed to be ultra-compact, lightweight, and dual-mode, supporting both Analogue and Digital modes. These rugged and fully-submersible radios utilize advanced DMR digital technology along with Entel audio tailoring technology, delivering optimal range and clarity for communication.
The DX400 Series offers both Tier 1 and Tier 2 options, featuring models with and without displays.
Tier 1 is designed for commercial and leisure applications with direct mode operation, prohibiting the use of repeaters. It is fully approved for use in Europe, and no license is required for operation.
Tier 2 is suitable for small to medium-sized licensed systems. Radios in Tier 2 can operate in direct mode or, when an extended range is needed, can be used with a repeater. Tier 2 repeaters can also be networked to further expand the coverage area.
