What the X7 is built for
The Evolution X7 is iDirect’s high-performance remote for demanding VSAT applications – cellular backhaul, broadcast contribution, government and defense networks, and maritime links. It runs iDirect’s Evolution platform with DVB-S2X forward-path support and Mx-DMA (multi-carrier TDMA) return-path technology, which lets a hub allocate bandwidth dynamically across many remotes rather than locking each site to a fixed carrier. Adaptive Coding and Modulation adjusts throughput automatically as weather and link conditions change, so the connection degrades gracefully instead of dropping out.
