The GBDH848 is a high-performance outdoor optical fiber cable designed to withstand the rigors of harsh environmental conditions. Featuring a multi-loose tube construction, this cable offers superior protection and reliability for a variety of applications, including industrial backbone, campus backbone, building backbone (riser), and horizontal cabling, as well as networks for industrial, telecom, cable TV, and broadcast use.
Key Features
- Robust Construction: Aramid yarns as the strength member, a polyethylene inner jacket, a corrugated steel tape armor for full rodent protection, and a polyethylene outer jacket.
- High Fiber Count: 48 single-mode (OS2) fibers spread across 6 loose tubes.
- Fiber Grade Compliance: Complies with ITU-T G.652.D and G.657.A1 standards.
- Optimal Optical Performance: Max. attenuation of 0.39 dB/km at 1310 nm, 0.24 dB/km at 1550 nm, and 0.29 dB/km at 1625 nm.
Applications
Industrial backbone, campus backbone, building backbone (riser), horizontal cabling, and telecom, cable TV, and broadcast networks. Suitable for direct burial, duct/tunnel/trench placement, and exposure to the elements.
