The NJS8496 is a PLL-based low noise block downconverter for the full C-band RF range of 3.4 to 4.2 GHz, converting down to an IF output of 950 to 1,750 MHz via a 5.15 GHz local oscillator. Unlike the externally referenced variant, it uses a built-in, highly stable internal reference and is offered in four frequency-stability grades (H, S, U, and V-type, ranging from ±10 ppm down to ±0.3 ppm) plus F-type or N-type IF connector options. It provides a typical noise temperature of 15 K, weighs about 670 g, and is RoHS compliant.
